Summary
A Magical Girl who was born a hikikomori and never went to school but wants to change herself. On the internet, she has always played as a cheerful character, and when she is transformed, she plays that character as a hero. She is supported by beautiful memories of when she used to go outside.
Doppel Description
The doppel of futile struggle. Its form is a curtain rail. The master of this emotion is fond of her Doppel, as it makes for a convenient hiding spot. When her mind and body are exhausted from continually putting up a false front, she can hide within it to soothe herself. The Doppel is likewise vehement in hiding its true self, so it both understands its master’s feelings, and believes that the two of them share a common destiny as partners who have seen each other’s true nature. If anyone were to attempt to unveil what hides within, it would desperately fight back with both its sharp body and the curtains adorning it, and if anyone were to glimpse inside, it would not permit their survival under any circumstances. It’s said to sometimes dance about by itself when it’s in a good mood, but its master is the only known witness of this.

Appearances
Event Appearances
Powers and Abilities
Mitsune's personal magic allows her to change the perception of someone. She uses this on herself after Jun dies, making herself believe that the reason Jun is gone is that she simply moved away again.
However stated in Chapter 6, Arc 2. Mitsune has lost this ability, similar to Kyoko Sakura
Etymology
- The characters of her last name mean "three" (三) and "wheel" (輪) respectively.
Trivia
- Mitsune's Soul Gem appears to resemble either a jumprope, a computer cable, or a cable-style bicycle lock.
- Considering her computer theme, it's most likely a computer cable.
- Claudia is the feminine form of the Latin name Claudius. Traditionally, it has been said to come from the Latin root claudus, meaning "lame", but a more likely origin is the Sabine cognate clausus, meaning "shut, closed". This refers to Mitsune's reserved, shut-in personality.
- Her Doppel Witch could be based on Claudia Kincaid, protagonist of the novel From the Mixed-Up Files of Mrs. Basil E. Frankweiler. Claudia is a 12 year old who runs away from home along side her little brother Jamie, as she doesn't feel appreciated by her parents. She is a good planner but can't handle money well, as she spends much of it on sweets.
- Her and Matsuri Hinata doppel's are both very similar.
- It, along with her hacking/technology motif, may also be a reference to the character Claudia Donovan from the American science-fiction series Warehouse 13, a red-headed young woman, hacker, and inventor. Incidentally, the characters of that show regularly used taser-like handguns that fired bolts of electricity to incapacitate enemies.
- Her description resembles the implied story of Elly/Kirsten's past as a Magical Girl.
- The event Girls in the Hood and her summary describe her as a hikikomori. The English equivalent would be a NEET, which stands for "Not in Education, Employment, or Training".
- Her illustrator is Juu Ayakura, who is best known for illustrating the light novel series Spice and Wolf.
- The patterns featured on Claudia's curtains are based off the works of painter Gustav Klimt.

**Unique to Mitsune Miwa** I wish all the lights in the city would go away. We left our hopes in the night. Anxiety was left in each other's hands. The outline of the town shown by the lights. A stage to make falsehood into truth. I don't pray to God, and I don't pray to something I don't know.
